New Features

When Covid started to become part our lives, we were all doing something different to earn a crust.

I remember chatting outside the Harbour Bar in Bray ( one of my favourite bars anywhere - just saying!) and saying 'it looks like we will need to find something to do for awhile'. That was a couple of days before St Patricks day. On the 19th of March , I bought our domain name.

We quickly built a prototype. Which as prototypes go, it seemed to work!

We started working with John and he started writing real code at a pace. So that customer number 1 - L'Art du Chocolat had set up their webshop and were taking orders on Good Friday.

When we entered the Covid pandemic we didn't have a ready made platform to go out and sell. Instead we have built everything from scratch.

New features , some big and others small are part of the ongoing development and building process.

Many of these features are prompted by needs of businesses we work with. They tell us where they are coming across bottlenecks as they meld their new online dimension into their existing bricks and mortar business.

The process we adopt in introducing these features, is that initially we work closely with the businesses that wanted the feature most urgently to garner their feedback. We then adapt the feature to perform as optimally as possible.  The next step is to work some other businesses to beta test it. When we and they are happy, we publish the feature live to the platform for all to use.

If you would like to be part of our Beta Test Group , let us know and we will include you.

Join hundreds of other bricks and mortar businesses who are now selling online and providing collections, deliveries and table service to their customers through our software.
